House prices in Isle of Anglesey rose by seven per cent in a year, Land Registry
figures show.
In April 2007, the average price of a house in the area stood at £153,529
compared to £143,526 the previous April.
April’s figures also represent a rise of 2.0 per cent on March’s house prices.
The average cost of a detached house in Isle of Anglesey in April was £202,428,
semis costs £127,900 and the average price of a terraced house stood at
£94,492.
The figures put Isle of Anglesey below the national average cost of a house,
which stood at £179,935 in April.
The busiest month for moving house in Isle of Anglesey between April 2006 and
this February was in December last year, when 138 properties were sold. The
quietest month was in February with 71 homes sold.
