House Prices Fall in Westbury, Wiltshire

Property prices in Westbury, Wiltshire, fell by 0.6 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Westbury stood at £164,530 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £241,000 in January 2007, compared to £245,748 in the previous January, a difference of 1.9 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £151,493 last January, compared to £160,070 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £145,924 in January 2007, compared to £132,270 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Westbury between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £52,000 while the most expensive cost £695,000.
