House Prices Rise in Keighley, West Yorkshire

Property prices in Keighley, West Yorkshire, rose by 7.3 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Keighley stood at £139,753 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £211,421 in January 2007, compared to £252,716 in the previous January, a difference of 16.3 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £153,297 last January, compared to £147,546 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £108,756 in January 2007, compared to £98,325 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Keighley between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £16,500 while the most expensive cost £685,000.

In total, during the same period, £317m was spent on property in the area.
