House Prices Rise in Littlehampton, West Sussex

Property prices in Littlehampton, West Sussex, rose by 4.1 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Littlehampton stood at £217,761 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £326,793 in January 2007, compared to £346,891 in the previous January, a difference of 5.8 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £225,855 last January, compared to £182,073 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £173,116 in January 2007, compared to £154,059 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Littlehampton between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £25,000 while the most expensive cost £2m.

In total, during the same period, £376m was spent on property in the area.

The average price of a house in Littlehampton in January last year compares to £241,167 for the county of West Sussex and a national average of £211,232.
