House Prices Rise in Lancing, West Sussex

Property prices in Lancing, West Sussex, rose by 12.7 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Lancing stood at £193,633 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £229,380 in January 2007, compared to £228,661 in the previous January, a difference of 0.3 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £198,710 last January, compared to £179,583 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £202,307 in January 2007, compared to £152,449 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Lancing between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £59,950 while the most expensive cost £720,000.

In total, during the same period, £129m was spent on property in the area.
