House Prices Rise in Whitstable, Kent

Property prices in Whitstable, Kent, rose by 3.4 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Whitstable stood at £225,133 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £281,011 in January 2007, compared to £272,279 in the previous January, a difference of 3.2 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £203,375 last January, compared to £201,066 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £208,646 in January 2007, compared to £183,389 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Whitstable between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £35,000 while the most expensive cost £1m.
