House Prices Rise in Romney Marsh, Kent

Property prices in Romney Marsh, Kent, rose by 8.7 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Romney Marsh stood at £177,735 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £211,785 in January 2007, compared to £202,083 in the previous January, a difference of 4.8 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £156,125 last January, compared to £148,811 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £156,000 in January 2007, compared to £155,278 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Romney Marsh between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £35,000 while the most expensive cost £562,500.
