House Prices Rise in Wembley, Greater London

Property prices in Wembley, Greater London, rose by 11.6 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Wembley stood at £268,690 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £484,000 in January 2007, compared to £387,333 in the previous January, a difference of 25 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £332,150 last January, compared to £324,771 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £271,427 in January 2007, compared to £259,342 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Wembley between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £95,000 while the most expensive cost £712,500.

In total, during the same period, £243m was spent on property in the area.
