House Prices Rise in Purley, Greater London

Property prices in Purley, Greater London, rose by 20.6 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Purley stood at £320,594 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £454,883 in January 2007, compared to £451,888 in the previous January, a difference of 0.7 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £311,611 last January, compared to £269,572 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £226,250 in January 2007, compared to £220,500 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Purley between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £89,950 while the most expensive cost £2m.
