House Prices Rise in Kingston upon Thames, Greater London

Property prices in Kingston upon Thames, Greater London, rose by 25.7 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Kingston upon Thames stood at £400,015 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £996,083 in January 2007, compared to £777,500 in the previous January, a difference of 28.1 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £426,150 last January, compared to £351,750 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £405,334 in January 2007, compared to £301,211 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Kingston upon Thames between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £67,000 while the most expensive cost £4m.

In total, during the same period, £494m was spent on property in the area.
