House Prices Rise in Hayes, Greater London

Property prices in Hayes, Greater London, rose by 10.7 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Hayes stood at £209,096 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £302,000 in January 2007, compared to £264,000 in the previous January, a difference of 14.4 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £230,933 last January, compared to £228,860 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £217,611 in January 2007, compared to £185,268 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Hayes between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £80,000 while the most expensive cost £562,500.

In total, during the same period, £295m was spent on property in the area.
