House Prices Fall in Bromley, Greater London

Property prices in Bromley, Greater London, fell by 2.8 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Bromley stood at £263,278 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £481,642 in January 2007, compared to £539,582 in the previous January, a difference of 10.7 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £307,039 last January, compared to £308,271 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £267,479 in January 2007, compared to £212,627 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Bromley between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £65,000 while the most expensive cost £2m.

In total, during the same period, £706m was spent on property in the area.
