House Prices Fall in Loughton, Essex

Property prices in Loughton, Essex, fell by 8.8 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Loughton stood at £254,325 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £475,826 in January 2007, compared to £545,000 in the previous January, a difference of 12.7 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £288,066 last January, compared to £307,115 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £221,608 in January 2007, compared to £235,989 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Loughton between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £28,943 while the most expensive cost £2m.
