House Prices Rise in High Peak, Derbyshire

Property prices in High Peak, Derbyshire, rose by 0.5 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in High Peak stood at £168,725 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £265,249 in January 2007, compared to £244,285 in the previous January, a difference of 8.6 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £152,742 last January, compared to £158,272 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £142,476 in January 2007, compared to £136,158 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in High Peak between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £43,538 while the most expensive cost £745,000.
