House Prices Rise in Belper, Derbyshire

Property prices in Belper, Derbyshire, rose by 21.8 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Belper stood at £202,872 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £296,565 in January 2007, compared to £234,497 in the previous January, a difference of 26.5 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £140,166 last January, compared to £140,023 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £128,107 in January 2007, compared to £122,027 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Belper between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £28,500 while the most expensive cost £875,000.
