House Prices Fall in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire

Property prices in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, fell by 0.3 per cent between January 2006 and January 2007.

According to the latest Land Registry figures, the average price of a property in Biggleswade stood at £183,116 last January.

The average price of a detached home was £222,635 in January 2007, compared to £276,454 in the previous January, a difference of 19.5 per cent.

Semi-detached homes cost an average of £172,842 last January, compared to £176,933 the year before while the average price of a terraced home stood at £165,875 in January 2007, compared to £149,357 in January 2006.

The cheapest property purchased in Biggleswade between January 2006 and January 2007 sold for £69,000 while the most expensive cost £675,000.

In total, during the same period, £109m was spent on property in the area.
